Agreeing to text messages
Steve Krieger doing business as Find My Neighborhood Mechanic (FindMNM) at findmnm.com.
You are agreeing to receive text messages (SMS) from Steve Krieger / FindMNM when you give your mobile number and choose text. This is not only signing up for the website.
How consent starts (website — this is the first opt-in)
People do not start by texting JOIN or START to a number. They opt in on this website:
- Tech sign-up — enter your shop phone and select Text message. The form says you agree to receive SMS: account confirmation, new-device, and password-reset codes.
- Mechanic Data — technicians can optionally turn on texts when a customer requests service, and turn them off there any time. Replying STOP stops every FindMNM text to that phone, not only request alerts.
- Customer request form (from zip search, then a shop) — enter your mobile number and choose text. The form says you agree to receive SMS: work-location and job-complete / pay-link notices for that request.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Privacy · Terms.
After you have already opted in
If you previously texted STOP, you can resume by texting START to +16364894228. That is not how new users first join.
