FindMNM is a live directory and shop toolkit at findmnm.com. Customers look up independent auto technicians by zip code. Technicians list their shop, keep customer records, write invoices, and can collect payment when a job is done. We are still adding listings; independent techs who sign up now are often the first in their zip.
Operator: Steve Krieger, doing business as Find My Neighborhood Mechanic (FindMNM).

United States. Independent and home-garage technicians, mobile techs, and small shops.
Search by zip code for a technician who works nearby. Listings can show shop name, area, phone, and an about page for that shop. Customers can send their vehicle and contact details to a shop before they arrive. When work is finished, the shop can send a pay link so the customer can pay by card for that invoice.
Shop tools are not a monthly subscription. Cash jobs stay between the technician and the customer. On card payments, FindMNM adds a 3% convenience fee on the pay link; that fee is how the site is paid. Stripe processes the card charge.
FindMNM is not the repair shop. The technician does the work and sets the price. We provide the listing, records, invoice, and (when the shop has finished card payouts) the card checkout. Disputes about the repair are between the customer and the technician.
